Wow, not 72 hours after hearing we are finalists in the Australian Construction Awards, but we receive notification that we are also finalists in the Hunter Valley Safety Awards 2019.
Launched in 2016, these awards “highlight and acknowledge companies and individuals within the Hunter region who are demonstrating best-practice and innovative approaches when it comes to workplace health and safety (WHS).”
152HQ is honoured to be finalists in the category of:
MOST INNOVATIVE WHS IDEA AWARD (SME)
Being a finalist in this category is recognition of Safe-halo being successfully rolled out amongst the mining, infrastructure and environmental industries throughout NSW, with Centennial Coal’s Mandalong operations coming on board in August 2018.
Here, Safe-halo has been adapted to suit Centennial Coal’s requirements ensuring they are able to protect and monitor their lone and remote workers, within the Hunter Region.
Safe-halo was adapted to include
- Up to date local imagery of the Mandalong operational sites
- Geofenced locations, with fully automated entrance and exit registers
- Upgraded functionality on app to include team location maps, so even those in the field know where their team are, and
- Dynamic home screen for real time visibility of personnel.
We look forward to continuing to make safety initiatives accessible to the workers of the Hunter Valley.
The Team can’t wait to attend the awards ceremony on March 15th in Newcastle.
