What a fortnight!
Running a small business will be dull! Said no one – Ever.
This statement certainly holds true for the team at 152HQ. The last fortnight has presented so many awesome adventures for us as, we continue our journey in helping businesses transform through digitisaton.
Did you spot us in the crowd at Techboard Roundtable, supported by RSM, Radium Capital and Startcon at Freelancer Sydney? What an outstanding opportunity to get up close (and personal) with such a diverse group of VC Leaders. Of course, the topic of conversation centred on the Future of Funding for Australian Startups, but naturally it progressed to the pain points experienced not only by VC’s but also by startup founders when trying to access funding. Thank you to all the great panellists for sharing their time and knowledge. Thursday and Friday saw us off to Sydney again for the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business Digital Champions Conference. Wow! What a great opportunity to meet and connect with the 100 small business grant recipients, corporate partners, mentors, Deliotte and government representatives. The event is certainly timely as 45% of Australian small business implement and invest in cloud based software to help drive their digital transformations. The vibe was electric as we heard insights from industry and business SME’s (including Michelle Bridges) revisiting their own digital journeys. Thank you Dept. of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business and Facebook for hosting us. https://www.employment.gov.au/digital-champions
We have also had a number of road trips to visit our fantastic clients spanning from Newcastle in the north to Auburn in Sydney’s west. We have implemented our Job Management Software QicWorks (www.qicworks.com) and rolled out the kiosk timekeeping app to over 80 employees, worked on integrating a drag and drop job scheduling and roster plan, and talked about digitising hazard identification and risk reporting.
But the week did not stop there…. Next stop showcasing at Pitch@Palace Sydney 3.0.
